Buenas tardes, tengo un Compaq presario F500 el cual se le instalo windows 7 y no e podido conseguir los controladores adecuado necesito con suma urgencia el de Wirless instale un atheros que salia en un foro y no funciona si me pueden ayudar con el equipo por favor.

Hi all I have a compaq presario cq56 and also came across the dredded black screen I tried all advised tips but to no avail I was about to store the laptop in the cupboard and leave to collect dust or to use as a door wedge when I thought id try one last thing....I put battery back in and I turned on laptop and wrapped it in a thick blanket so that it get very hot and shuts down by itself and left over night when I awoke the laptop was off I then plugged in the power adapter and fingers crossed pressed start button...hooray it worked my laptop is back up and running.. Please try what have you got to loose

Your website is very interesting..i want to know, my laptop is compaq presario F700. Currently, my computer cannot be started when i push on/off button. The light of the on/off button only appear for 3 seconds and after that turning off again.

I have compaq presario f700. the problem is that when I switch it on nothing comes on the screen, and after a munite it switches off and come on just immediately. When it trys to load from the hard drive it makes a sharp hissing sound and switches of and on.

Hi I have a compaq presario f700. It worked quite fine for nearly two years but now there is a problem with the screen. Sometimes the screen goes completely black (I can see the backlight is functional but no information on the screen) or sometimes mostly horizontal lines. I opened the notebook according to the directions above and checked for the connector but it seemed fine. Additionally I am connecting the notebook to the TV by using a RGB cable could this cause a problem or is there another problem. Thanks

hey i got compaq presario F700 from a friend. he was having same issue. The laptop turns on and restarts after few second but the screen stay black. i followed some of your suggestions. I used the heating gun for 3.5 minutes and heated up the Graphic chip that is on the motherboard. and pressed it down down little with towel and let it cool down. i put a penny on the graphic card along with some Thermal grease so it stays cool. i connected everything back. wow! there is goes i got the screen working. Not sure how long this going to last.

hey, i need help with my compaq presario F730us. i fixed the motherboard. The touchpad is not working. i installed all the drivers, from compaq and synaptics website still no luck. when go to mouse settings I DO NOT see the touchpad. i checked all the cables already they are connected properly. External usb mouse works fine. But laptops touchpad doesnt. What should i do? any recommendations. Also i have seen used parts on ebay, is it worth buying or not? please let me know thank you..

I have a compaq presario f500 that needs a new cooling fan. Is the cooling fan and heat sink one piece or can you replace just the fan. I have found just the fan that said it fits the f500 would they work.

hello guys and i just want to say that i brought an old compaq presairo f700 laptop computer from a neighborhood pawn shop in louisville kentucky and me myself upgraded this computer with windows 7 home preuim on a 32bit system and i must say it runs fine.with a gig of memory in the system. the video card drivers for my acer monitor have to be updated other than that this computer rus great.it really tripped me out how commputer experts and lovers had so many negitve things about this computer this computer just needs fresh memory and a new upgrade. the compaq presairo f700 laptop computer will let you down for a windows7 upgrade just as long as your laptop is in good shape it makes a good back up computer for me and maybe for you. 2ff7e9595c
